Marlene Garcia
I founded Garcia’s Svcs., Inc. in 2014 with a simple but powerful mission: to create a space where mi comunidad—especially Spanish-speaking families like mine—could feel seen, supported, and understood. Growing up, I watched my mom struggle to navigate paperwork and legal systems because of language barriers and unfamiliar processes. It was heartbreaking to see how something so small on paper could feel so overwhelming in real life.
After nearly 20 years living in Belmont Cragin—and with my mom still calling it home—I’ve seen just how difficult it can be for many in nuestra comunidad to find trustworthy, culturally aware support. That experience lit a fire in me. I wanted to build something meaningful—something rooted in compassion, clarity, and orgullo cultural.

Fundé Garcia’s Svcs., Inc. en 2014 con una misión simple pero poderosa: crear un espacio donde mi comunidad—especialmente las familias hispanohablantes como la mía—pudieran sentirse vistas, apoyadas y comprendidas. Al crecer, vi a mi mamá luchar para entender papeleo y sistemas legales debido a las barreras del idioma y los procesos desconocidos. Me partía el corazón ver cómo algo tan pequeño en papel podía sentirse tan abrumador en la vida real.
Después de casi 20 años viviendo en Belmont Cragin—y con mi mamá aún llamándolo su hogar—he visto lo difícil que puede ser para muchos en nuestra comunidad encontrar apoyo confiable y culturalmente consciente. Esa experiencia encendió una chispa en mí. Quise construir algo con propósito—algo arraigado en la compasión, la claridad y el orgullo cultural.
